We are pleased to announce that our member of the month for November is, Zoe Ellis.
Zoe does both pole and aerial here at Pole4Fitness. She has been poling for 6 years and has been doing aerial for 2 years. Zoe originally joined pole because a friend wanted to do it, and she also liked the idea of it. She then joined aerial because it looked like fun.
Zoe said that since joining, she has seen a huge difference in her confidence more than anything. She quoted, “I am a wall flower at heart, and this has just brought me out.” She said that she has also noticed a difference in her strength, as she has just started weight lifting and is really surprised at the amount she can lift and said that is mainly because of pole and aerial.
“My instructors are Penny and Fern. Penny always makes me feel fantastic, even when i feel awful. Fern makes me push harder and is one of the reasons that I entered the North East Championships. They both make me do things, even when I think that I can’t!
To anyone wanting to give it a try, just do it. Once you do, you will find that you love it and there will be no going back.”
Penny, Zoe’s instructor, said this about her student, “It has been such a pleasure to teach the lovely Zoe!! She recently won her category in the North East Championships and announcing her made me so choked with pride I could barely speak. Zoe loves everything about pole and not only has she recently mastered her handspring, she is also one of the only people I know who can talk and laugh through a broken doll ( you need to have a REALLY bendy back for that!!) Zoe is so dedicated, talented and beautiful, whether on the hoop or the pole, whether barefoot or in 8 inch pleasers – she always gives EVERYTHING she’s got, tries anything and generally bosses every move. She’s a little star and also one of the loveliest people I know. Well done Zoe xxx
Well done Zoe!
Lots of love
