Which course stage are you on, and who is your instructor?

30 with Kim

When did you start training with us?

01/08/2015

What made you want to participate in the classes?

I was looking for a new and exciting way to get fit after having my babies, and I do love a bit of something unusual too.

What do you struggle with the most, and what is your favourite move?

I have yet to master a superman; I feel like my thigh fat gets in the way. However, I absolutely love doing some of Kim’s routines, adding parts and transferring from one to the next.

What is your most outstanding achievement in class?

Much as it was a long time ago, it took me five weeks to successfully invert; I am still proud of that.

Please tell us how you feel about your pole journey so far.

There have been times when I have been unable to attend for a while, such as pregnancy, a car crash, and of course, covid. However, I am always eager to return, get stuck back in, catch up with the pole family and challenge myself! I came back just six weeks after having my second baby.

Tell us about your instructor and your pole family.

Kim is an inspirational instructor, excellent at pushing us to achieve more and differentiate for the range of abilities in the class. Also, such a good laugh!! The pole class is a firm group that supports each other, both at and outside of the pole! There have been some epic nights out!

Do you have anything else that you would like to share to inspire other people in their journey?

I just feel so good in myself; strong and able to do things other people think are near impossible! Also, I can’t see a pole in a nightclub or a kids’ playground without wanting to play! Having a pole at home has been a brilliant investment, allowing me to practise and follow up on classes well.
