When did you start training with us?Lisa Clark

22/02/2017

What made you want to participate in the classes?

I started with my daughter.

What is your favourite move, and which one do you struggle with the most?

I don’t have a favourite move but my classmate Donna will tell you it’s an angel! haha!

What is your most outstanding achievement in class?

I don’t think I have any outstanding achievements.

Please tell us how you feel about your pole/aerial journey.

I loved every minute of my pole journey. I love the new challenges we are set every week. I don’t always get it, but I do try.

Tell us about your instructor and your pole family.

My instructor Clare Bennett has been brilliant. She’s been more like a friend than an instructor but always professional while teaching us in the studio. She’s always there for support and advice on our pole journey. My pole family Donna, Laura, Helen Judi, Mandy and Holly are absolute stars, always there to encourage each other.

Clare said I chose Lisa because she is a consistent, dedicated poler who is always on hand with tips, ideas, and support. Lisa has recently hit her target weight after the lockdown inactivity and is back on top form for doing this. She has developed a good eye for pole technique and understands what is wrong when a move doesn’t work, so it is a pleasure to work with as she gets right back on after a failure, and she is stronger and more capable than she gives herself credit for. Lisa says she has no outstanding achievements, but I beg to differ; she is the head of a large family with grandchildren, she is a carer and still has time to help others, and she comes to pole consistently nailing new moves every week!   Well Done, Lisa!
