March 2015 – Jodie Archer

This month we decided to do something different, so welcome our first AOF Aerial member of the month, Jodie Archer! For those who don’t know much about Aerial it is a class where you learn tricks and moves on things such as the Hoop, Silks and Trapeze. It builds the same sort of strength as it does in pole lessons.

Jodie has been doing Aerial for around 6 months now and started a bit of pole for 2 months until she knew Aerial was best for her. She started as there was a Groupon offer on at the time and has carried on ever since. Jodie said, ‘Aerial is so much better than going to the gym and it is helping me physically. I have also met a lot of new people here. Fern is my instructor and she is amazing, I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for her!’

Fern had this to say about Jodie, ‘I nominated Jodie for member of the month because she has improved so much in the last few months. This woman’s tenacity is seriously admirable! Week after week Jodie continues to get back up on the horse and develop her Aerial skills and is always encouraging other members of her class. Well done, Jodie!’

For anyone wanting to start up Aerial, Jodie’s advice is to join because the staff are very friendly and it doesn’t matter what size you are.

Well done Jodie!
